The volume of withdrawals of dealers with the Commercial Bank of Syria from ATMs in all governorates exceeded 23 billion Syrian pounds, with a total number of transactions estimated at 350 thousand, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The Syrian Commercial indicated in a statement that it continued to provide its services for disbursing the grant and salaries from the date of the 25th of April until the 6th of this May through 60 branches and offices covering most areas in the governorates to ensure communication with its customers and in order to provide withdrawal and deposit services.
According to the statement, the bank’s branches continued to work on a daily basis during the holiday, while continuing to feed the money changers, as withdrawals from the ATMs of the Commercial branch in Jamiliya in Aleppo alone amounted to about 500 million Syrian pounds during the mentioned period.
