Chinese official data showed that the total volume of Chinese imports and exports increased by 7.9 percent year on year to 12.58 trillion yuan in the first four months of this year 2022.
Data from the General Administration of Customs released by Xinhua showed that the total foreign trade volume for this period amounted to 1.98 trillion US dollars, an increase of 10.1 percent year on year.
In addition, data issued by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that Chinese Internet companies witnessed a steady growth in their business revenues during the first quarter of this year, as the business revenues of major Internet and related services companies between January and March reached 323.6 billion yuan, or 323.6 billion yuan. Equivalent to about 49 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.4 percent year on year.
