The activities of the first conference for investment in the electricity and renewable energies sector kicked off today at the Jasmine House Hotel in Damascus.
The two-day conference will be held under the slogan “Investment in renewable energies and electricity, the engine of sustainable development in Syria.” Private and joint investment in the electricity generation and distribution sector, finding innovative formulas to develop work, in addition to discussing countries' experiences in this field.
The conference will be attended by the ministries of energy in friendly countries, the Syrian Investment Authority, the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, the Central Bank of Syria, the Planning and International Cooperation Authority, the Arab Authority for Renewable Energy, in addition to Syrian, Arab and foreign investors.
