The price of unleaded increased by 8.8 euro cents over a week, according to prices unveiled on Monday by the Directorate General for Energy and Climate.
It averaged 1.9386 euros per liter last Friday.
Diesel was down on Friday, by - 2.6 euro cents over a week, with an average of 1.852 euro per litre.
This is the first time in several weeks that unleaded has gone above diesel for several weeks.
Since April 1, and until July 31 for the moment, the State has set up aid of 18 euro cents per liter (the prices displayed at the pump take this aid into account, editor's note).
This device has made it possible to bring prices back below the 2 euro mark while prices had soared due, in particular, to the uncertainties linked to the war in Ukraine.
