The work of the Syrian Economy Conference was launched this evening at the Umayyad Palace of Conferences under the title (Investment Prospects and Visions in the Reconstruction Phase) with the aim of discussing the reality of investment in Syria and introducing the investment opportunities available under the current circumstances.
Participants in the conference from various ministries and public and private entities will focus during three days on the role of investment in meeting the requirements of economic development (incentive policies and measures to support investment), future plans and objectives in this field, mechanisms for attracting and the investor portal, the role of expatriates in investment and reconstruction, the reality of free zones and industrial cities, and steps Investing in it and partnering with the business sector.
The participants will also discuss investment opportunities in the areas of alternative energies, tourism, the reality of insurance and financing, the development of digital transformation in Syria, how to access infrastructure supportive of the reconstruction process, financial, tax and legislative facilities, and the flexibility of capital movement for ease of doing business, payment systems and information security.
