France wants to be at the forefront of the global fight to accelerate the energy transition of companies.
With this in mind, Emmanuel Macron launched an initiative in October aimed at creating an international platform (One Planet Data Hub), centralizing information related to corporate climate policies.
This
"ambitious"
project is beginning to take shape.
On Friday, the President of the Republic and Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, United Nations special envoy for the climate, laid the first stone to the building.
Following a meeting at the Élysée, they announced the establishment of a new Steering Committee on climate-related data.

It will be made up
of "an international group bringing together representatives of the public and private sectors",
explains the Elysée in a press release.
It will notably include international organizations (United Nations, OECD, IMF), but also rating agencies (MSCI, Morningstar) and representatives of developed countries, etc.
