Traffic is particularly disrupted on the RER A between Nanterre-Préfecture and Cergy and Poissy with three out of five trains running at peak times.

A local strike by SNCF drivers protesting against their working conditions disrupted the RER A and C and two Transilien lines on Monday, while a new strike is looming on the RER D on June 24, the day of the Top final. 14 at the Stade de France.

Traffic was particularly disrupted on the RER A between Nanterre-Préfecture and Cergy and Poissy with three out of five trains running at peak times and only one train per hour during off-peak hours on the branch going to Cergy.

On the one towards Poissy, there was one train out of three at off-peak hours.

Traffic remained normal on the rest of the line, according to Île-de-France Mobilités.

On the RER C, two out of three trains circulated on average.

Lines J and L of the Transilien counted one train out of two or three depending on the hours of circulation.

Traffic should remain slightly disrupted again on Tuesday on all of these lines.

Due to numerous works, the schedules of the drivers "

are constantly modified every week

", indicated Fabien Villedieu of Sud-Rail.

The management "

did not anticipate recruitment, so there is also a big concern for staffing and all that mixed together creates a lot of tension on the lines

", he added to explain the strike movement.

Sud-Rail also calls to mobilize for the same reasons on June 24 on the RER D which serves the Stade de France where the final of the Top 14 rugby is to take place.
