The Ministry of Finance agreed to distribute the additional net profits to employees of the General Corporation for Cement and Building Materials, the General Company for the Cable Industry in Damascus, the General Company for Water Bottling in Tartous, the Hama Oil Company and the Hama Steel Company affiliated to the Ministry of Industry.
According to the decision, which SANA received a copy of, the profits are distributed to the workers in these agencies according to the work centers and by approving evaluation marks for each work center in appreciation of their efforts.
The Ministry of Industry, which published the decision today, stated that this procedure was based on the decision of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to consider the products of the industrial public sector as competitive goods and the results of the meetings held in the Ministry of Finance to discuss the annual performance standards approved in the distribution of profits for the year 2021.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the General Manager of the General Company for Cables Industry, Engineer Abdul Qader Al-Kaddour, pointed out the role of this decision in motivating the workers to continue with high vigor in supporting the production process, which contributes to increasing production in the mentioned companies and thus increasing the profits in which they will have a larger share accordingly in the years coming.
Al-Kaddour indicated that according to this decision, these profits will be distributed, each according to his work position, according to points determined by the administrative committee in each company, which are approved by the Board of Directors, so that these amounts will be distributed to the workers. 700 and 800 thousand pounds will be delivered at once.
