A new survey conducted by Einat Doron, an expert in developing and promoting women's entrepreneurship and developing an "attentive entrepreneurship" approach, among 300 women aged 40 and over across the country found that most women in senior positions in Israel are dissatisfied with their jobs and seeking career change.

In preparation for a national online conference this week that will be attended by hundreds of women from around the country, Doron publishes the findings of the survey, which deals with women and careers, and reveals interesting findings.

The survey, conducted by the Zilberfarb Research Institute, found three key factors influencing the satisfaction and functioning of hired women:

comfort, interest and pay conditions

.

The survey found that more than 76% of women in Israel, aged 40 and over, who hold senior positions, are dissatisfied with their job and want to change jobs or positions.

In addition, the survey found that 65% of all women are generally satisfied with their workplace when the level of satisfaction is uniform in different regions of the country.

The survey also found that women aged 40-49 are five times more connected to the organization than women over the age of 50. Women with a high school education and below indicated that they are satisfied with their work for convenience and not for a job challenge or interest in work.

Low wages cause dissatisfaction, but high wages do not necessarily cause satisfaction

An interesting statistic deals with the wage aspects and finds that 50% of the women stated that they are dissatisfied because of the wage.

What makes women happy at work is not the salary but most women testify that the reason they are unhappy, if they are not happy, is their salary.

In other words -

when you are not satisfied it will be because of the salary but in order for you to be satisfied, it does not require dependence or satisfaction from the salary

.

Ohad Zilberfarb of the Zilberfarb Market Research Institute

, who conducted the survey, noted that when we asked the respondents what their professional dream was, among the answers presented the most prominent answer was the ability to advance in work (44%). In second place they indicated the desire to be independent (13% Women over the age of 50 indicated this desire twice as much as women under the age of 50 (19%

vs.

10.2%).

And the developer of the "Attentive Entrepreneurship" approach explains: "Many organizations in Israel fail to retain facts over time and the reason for this is usually the inability to understand the motivation of the facts in the workplace. Hired women want to express diverse skills beyond job definition

. More, for a safe and comfortable feeling in the workplace and most importantly - want to feel meaningful. Their satisfaction does not necessarily rest on wages and conditions and employers still find it difficult to understand this. "In the workplace. But this solution does not stand alone. Managers today are still afraid of giving expression to skills for fear of abandonment and in fact this fixed perception leads to the loss of excellent facts that could have worked at very high outputs and over time."
