The Russian company, Gazprom, announced that it has resumed pumping gas through the pipeline (Turkish Stream) crossing the Black Sea, after completing maintenance work.
And the website of Russia Today channel quoted the company as saying in a statement today that: “Russian gas has been re-pumped through the pipeline (Turkish Stream) after it was stopped on the twenty-first of this month due to the maintenance work previously agreed upon between the Russian and Turkish sides.”
The Russian company, Gazprom, announced the suspension of pumping Russian gas through the (Turkish Stream) pipeline for a week, starting from the 21st to the 28th of this month, for periodic maintenance work.
It is noteworthy that the (Turkish Stream) gas pipeline includes two gas pipelines, one to Turkey and the second to southern European countries, with a total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year, and it began operating in December 2020.
