Geoxia, builder of Phénix houses, placed in compulsory liquidation

The Commercial Court of Nanterre on Tuesday placed in compulsory liquidation 14 companies out of the 17 of the Geoxia group, builder of the famous Phénix houses, for lack of offers of buyers for its activity.

The manufacturer employed 1,150 people and achieved a turnover of 252 million euros in 2021.

On May 24, the company was placed in receivership, unable to find a buyer despite the support of the Ciri (Interministerial Committee for Industrial Recovery) for a year.

Two global offers that managers and employees deem not very credible had been sent to the Nanterre commercial court, as well as several partial takeover offers that do not include the group's three production sites.
