With the participation of more than 135 local companies, the activities of the monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” will be launched in its 138th session, under the title “Goodness is your best”, organized by the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside in cooperation with the imprint of Syrian youth in Al-Jalaa Sports Hall in Mezzeh from June 30 to 7. from next July.
A member of the board of directors of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry and head of the festival’s organizing committee, Talal Qala Ji, told SANA that the aim of holding the festival in conjunction with the approaching Eid al-Adha is to secure Eid supplies for the family at appropriate prices and good discounts with the rapid rise in local markets as a result of global inflation, which led to The rise in production inputs in addition to the continuation of sanctions and the siege on Syria.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee indicated that a wide and large participation of companies specialized in the manufacture of children's, women's and men's clothing would be allocated to achieve the purpose for which this session was held, in addition to food companies specialized in the manufacture of sweets, holiday hospitality and other Eid necessities that every family needs.
Qalaa Ji confirmed the continuation of the Made in Syria Festival since its inception in 2015 until today, by providing free purchase vouchers to the families of the martyrs, and raffles that take place on the last day for gold medals for the festival's visitors who shopped and whose names were entered in the raffles.
