The Flying Whales project is completing the final stage of its funding round, which aims to relaunch an airship industry.
The French start-up announces this morning that it has completed a third round of fundraising, of 122 million euros, from a pool of public and private investors.
New shareholders entered the capital thanks to the operation: the French State, via the French Tech Sovereignty fund, operated by Bpifrance, and the Principality of Monaco, via the National Finance Company.
Other investors are also taking a ticket, alongside Societe Generale, via its insurance subsidiary, leader in aeronautical leasing, with which Flying Whales is working on future financial tools for leasing airships.
