Rich in its historical heritage – listed in 1840 for the Notre-Dame des Marais de La Ferté-Bernard church -, it offers a cultural offer with programs comparable to those of large cities;
for example the Festival de la Chéronne created by Raphaël SIKORSKI, Parisian vocal coach, who fell in love with the Perche Emeraude.
For more than 10 years, it has welcomed lyrical artists who perform on international stages.
Also rich in five sports complexes and two nautical bases, more than 50 sports disciplines are offered to nearly 5,500 licensees - leisure and competitors -.
La Ferté-Bernard has been labeled "The sportiest city in the Pays de la Loire 2021" in its category with the remarkable record of 5 flames due in particular to the investment of its volunteers who are passionate about sports.
