A thermometer that flirts with 45°C, winds up to 60 km/h and a fire that has never been so close.
It is an understatement to say that this Monday was difficult for the owners of the five campsites located on the side of the Dune du Pilat.
Emptied of their campers for almost a week, the Forest of Pilat, the Dune, Pyla Camping, Petit Nice and Yellow Village panorama of Pyla had never been so threatened.
It was also difficult to say if they would still be spared this Tuesday morning.
