The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif, stressed the need to expedite the completion of the accounting program so that the Public Corporation for Housing can find a mechanism to view the amounts paid by subscribers and allocators.
Abdul Latif explained during a meeting at the Foundation today that the goal of the accounting program is to secure the necessary liquidity to follow up on the implementation of the Foundation’s housing projects in all its categories, in light of which the financing program for these projects will be developed, stressing the control of price differences, the development of a proactive financing plan, and attention to marketing for auctions and placing billboards in the right size and place.
In turn, the Director General of the Public Establishment for Housing, Eng. Mazen Lahham, presented during the meeting several procedures that are being worked on, especially with regard to the accounting program, where part of it has been implemented, and the data is now being audited and the rest of its stages are completed.
Al-Lahham pointed out that a special working group was formed to follow up and implement the financing plan, follow up on the status of a number of exchanges with the concerned authorities, and address the Ministry of Tourism and the Investment Authority regarding exchanges that can be used for tourism projects.
