According to a report, the NDR is now also investigating the case of the former RBB director Patricia Schlesinger. It is said to be about a commissioned production she is responsible for, for which her husband wrote the screenplay.

The case of Patricia Schlesinger draws wider circles.

In addition to the Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB), the Norddeutsche Rundfunk (NDR) is now also dealing with the actions of the resigned ARD chairmen, according to a media report.

The n-tv broadcaster reported that it was about internal processes in the 2016 docu-drama »The Good Goering«.

The anti-corruption officer has been turned on, citing the NDR.

The docu-drama was a commissioned production for NDR.

At the time, Schlesinger was head of the culture and documentation program and responsible for production.

Schlesinger's husband, former SPIEGEL author Gerhard Spörl, was one of the screenwriters.

It was only on Thursday that the Berlin public prosecutor's office took over the investigations into Schlesinger, Spörl and RBB's head of the administrative board, Wolf-Dieter Wolf.

It is about the suspicion of infidelity and taking advantage.

ARD boss Buhrow warns RBB for "complete" clarification

The allegations, which have not yet been clarified, relate to questionable consulting contracts for an RBB construction project that has now been put on hold, a large salary increase for Schlesinger to a good 300,000 euros, but also an additional bonus system.

It's also about food with "multipliers" at RBB's expense in your private apartment and a luxurious company car with massage seats, for which there is said to have been a very high discount.

Schlesinger's husband also received orders from the state-owned Messe Berlin, where Wolf is also the chief inspector.

According to SPIEGEL information, a three-day trip to London by Schlesinger and Spörl for a glamorous charity event is also being discussed.

In particular, the allegations revolve around the question of whether the broadcaster boss and the broadcaster chief controller Wolf-Dieter Wolf treated each other too laxly in the event of a possible collision of interests.

Both rejected allegations.

An external investigation is currently underway at a law firm.

Results are not yet available.

In view of all these allegations, the ARD seems concerned.

The director of Westdeutscher Rundfunk and Schlesinger's successor in the position of ARD chairman, Tom Buhrow, told the "Welt am Sonntag": "We now expect complete and transparent information from RBB."

The RBB Broadcasting Council apparently wants to meet earlier than planned to discuss Schlesinger's contract termination.

According to reports, the body will meet for a special session on Monday afternoon and not on Tuesday as initially planned.

The RBB control committee announced the special session on Monday.

Schlesinger announced her withdrawal from the RBB leadership on Sunday.

Previously, on Thursday a week ago, she had resigned as ARD boss.
