The Moscow Stock Exchange index recorded an increase in today's trading, coinciding with the rise of the Russian currency against the American and European currencies.
The Russian RT channel website stated that the Moscow Stock Exchange's ruble-denominated stock index "MISEX" rose 0.62 percent to 2146.30 points, and the dollar-denominated stock index "RTS" rose 0.75 percent to 1114.5 points, according to Moscow Stock Exchange data.
This was accompanied by an increase in the Russian currency against the dollar by 14 kopecks to 60.51 rubles per dollar, while the euro exchange rate fell by 43 kopecks to 62.22 rubles per euro.
