The Ministry of Finance announced that it is now possible to trade treasury bonds issued under the second auction of the current year in the Damascus Stock Exchange, starting from the trading session next Monday, corresponding to the 12th of this month.
The ministry confirmed in a statement on its Telegram channel that this announcement comes after it has completed all the necessary procedures and approvals for trading treasury bonds in the Damascus Securities Exchange.
The Ministry of Finance announced last month that 7 bidders, 6 operating banks, and one bid from a customer won, as a result of the second auction of government securities for the current year, to subscribe to treasury bonds. Accordingly, it allowed the trading of treasury bonds subscribed to in the Damascus Securities Exchange.
