China's small and medium-sized enterprises continued the momentum of recovery in August as a set of government policies aimed at stabilizing the economy came into effect.
The Chinese Association of Small and Medium Enterprises said that the "Small and Medium Enterprises Development Index, which is calculated on the basis of a survey of 3,000 small and medium-sized enterprises, scored 88.3 last month, which is the same level as last July."
The sub-index of accommodation and restaurants rose by 0.3 points last August, registering the largest increase among all the sectors that were tracked.
