A little better.
The government is raising its growth forecast for 2022: it should be 2.7%, according to the latest estimates, against 2.5% according to previous forecasts.
The Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, made the announcement this Wednesday on CNews.
"As consumption is holding up, business investment is holding up, job creations are very dynamic, we are going to revise 2022 growth," he said.
However, he mentions the difficulties linked to “the geopolitical context” and “energy prices”.

Conversely, the government announced on Tuesday that it expected growth of 1% in 2023 against 1.4% forecast so far, said Bruno Le Maire.
The ministry also revised its inflation forecast for 2022 upwards to +5.3% against +5% expected.
It did the same for 2023 with +4.2% against +3.2%, in a context of “continued war in Ukraine, tensions on energy prices and economic fragility” of the main trading partners from France.
