Wall Street's major indices opened higher today ahead of a widely expected interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve.
Reuters reported that the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 113.2 points, or 0.37 percent, at the open to 30,819.39.
The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 15.5 points, or 0.40 percent, at the opening to 3817.4 points, while the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 41.2 points, or 0.36 percent, to 11,466.21 points.
