Members of the Homs Chamber of Industry discussed with representatives of Belarusian companies ways of fruitful cooperation and finding investment opportunities that would contribute to the reconstruction of Syria.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Issam Tizini, Secretary of the Chamber of Industry, pointed out the importance of such meetings between Belarusian investors and industrialists in the Homs Chamber of Industry, which contributes to the development of economic relations between the two friendly countries, noting the important role of Syrian industrialists in their efforts to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries.
In a similar statement, the representative of the Belarus Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Syria, Riyad Hamad, explained that the aim of the meeting was to learn about the industrial reality in Homs, and to study the possibility of finding investment opportunities, because important companies submitted to participate in the “Reconstruction of Syria 2022” exhibition, and ways to benefit from the advantages of the laws regulating investment in Syria, and identifying aspects of partnership between the Syrian and Belarusian sides, by reviewing what a number of Belarusian companies produce, which contributes to the reconstruction of Syria.
In turn, the Director of the Industrial City in Hassia, Dr. Bassam Al-Mansour, said: Today's meeting is qualitative with a number of representatives of companies in Belarus with which we have important economic relations, in addition to putting forward some ideas and visions regarding investment in Hasya, as Investment Law No. 18 of 2021 was explained and benefit from of the advantages offered.
During the meeting, the production of Belarusian companies was reviewed by a number of representatives of five major companies in Belarus in the field of milk production, building stabilizers, road construction and manufacturing machinery for agriculture, construction, woodworking and furniture of all kinds.
It is noteworthy that the visit of representatives of a number of Belarusian companies to the Homs Chamber of Industry comes on the sidelines of the “Reconstruction of Syria 2022, its age” exhibition, which will be held from the 28th of September until the 2nd of next month in Damascus.
