A small revolution is taking place between Rhône and Saône.
In 2025, a new building will come out of the ground in the heart of the ZAC Confluence, a district that has been changing for twenty years in Lyon.
The Essential building, from the Nexity real estate group, is itself part of a set of 11 buildings for a total of 240 housing units and 13,000 m2 of higher education premises.
"The call for tenders, launched in 2020, made a low-carbon construction method and energy-efficient operation two priority areas",
underlines Frédéric Marchal, deputy general manager of the residential real estate division of Nexity.
The group whose project was selected by the Lyon metropolitan area was inspired by the concept developed by the Austrian architectural firm Baumschlager Eberle: the “22-26” technology.
