The value of the Russian "Gazprom" shares on the Moscow Stock Exchange rose today by more than 5% after the company's shareholders confirmed the decision to distribute dividends for the first half of 2022.
According to the Russia Today website, Gazprom's share rose by 5.41 percent to the level of 238.72 rubles.
The Russian company had previously announced that it had achieved a record net profit, which amounted to 2.5 trillion rubles, equivalent to 41.75 billion dollars, in the first half of 2022.
