These shortages are directly linked to the strikes that are rocking the refineries of TotalEnergies.
Employees are demanding pay rises, lamenting the company's policy of remunerating shareholders and the “superprofits” made thanks to the rise in prices, which they would like to see a little better redistributed.
The movement, which has been going on for several days, could last a little longer.
At least that's what a CGT official suggested on Friday, no doubt determined not to let the pressure fall on its leaders.
In the meantime, French motorists must therefore take their troubles patiently and hope to have a little luck to fill their tanks.

The map clearly shows the areas hardest hit by the shortages, namely the Paris region, the north of the country and the Mediterranean basin.

We present several of them to you because the results of the searches and the information delivered to their users may vary somewhat according to their operation.
