The CGT began this Monday morning exchanges with the strikers of TotalEnergies.
They remain mobilized to decide on the continuation of a movement initiated for almost two weeks for wages.
Under pressure from the executive, worried about the shortages observed in many service stations, TotalEnergies offered on Sunday to bring forward its annual wage negotiations to October.
The management of the company thus responds to the outstretched hand of the CGT, provided that the blockages end in the refineries and fuel depots.
Esso-ExxonMobil must bring together, for its part, the unions as of Monday.
Continue while waiting for a firm discussion date or suspend the time to negotiate
“As long as we have not taken a definitive position with the strikers, that we have not exchanged with them, the movement will continue”, indicated Eric Sellini, CGT coordinator for the TotalEnergies group.
“We meet among ourselves this morning and this afternoon.
There will be real debates about what we are doing,” he added.
“Do we continue while waiting to have a date and firm commitments?
Do we suspend the time of the negotiation?
All options are on the table, it will be up to the strikers to decide.

On the side of Esso-ExxonMobil, the strike was renewed early in the morning, while waiting to learn more about the planned meeting, said the CGT.
