Be careful, glass splinters: The company Erdbär from Berlin is recalling a hazelnut butter.
The product "Cheeky Friends Hazelnut Butter Date, Banana & Cocoa" in the 180 gram jar could contain glass fragments of different sizes, the company said on the website Lebensmittelanleitung.de.
Glasses with a best before date of June 27, 2024 and batch number L 41934 are affected. The product was sold in Berlin, North Rhine-Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg.
Other batches are currently not affected, the company said.
The product should no longer be consumed and instead disposed of with household waste.
Alternatively, customers could return the product to the place of purchase for a refund of the purchase price without presenting the receipt.
