The head of the German Federal Network Agency, Klaus Muller, announced that gas reserves in underground reservoirs in the country had decreased for the first time since the beginning of this month.
And German media quoted Mueller as saying: “Over the past months, the level of gas in German storage facilities has increased regularly, reaching 99.3 percent by the third of November, and the hot weather in October contributed to a decrease in energy consumption.”
"We have stored a lot of gas, but the winter can go on for a long time," Mueller added.
It is noteworthy that European countries spent about 104.8 billion dollars on importing and storing gas before winter.
