STORY - The Breton manufacturer of pastries cannot carry out its 250 million euro investment project in Ille-et-Vilaine, with 500 jobs at stake.

Building a pastry factory in Ille-et Vilaine?

It is mission impossible for Bridor, because of environmental opponents and ultra-left activists.

However, the project ticks all the boxes: reindustrialization of France, job creation and export of French know-how.

The ace.

Despite the promise of 500 job creations and 250 million euros of investment, it is threatened.

“I would like to invest in Brittany but I cannot,

Louis Le Duff, co-founder of the Le Duff group (Bridor, Brioche Dorée, Del Arte…).

.”

The Breton entrepreneur is all the more dismayed that after three years of administrative procedures, Bridor obtained environmental authorization from the prefect this summer, and that the municipality had issued the building permit.
