Social media influencer Lucy Welcher complained that she was too beautiful to work: "Does it look like I want to get up every day at 6am for the next 60 years? No, I'm too beautiful for that."

We've all had this thought in our heads - that we're too beautiful, smart or good to get up every morning for work - but no sane person would say that out loud, let alone take a picture of themselves saying it and post it online.

But the network influencer Lucy Welcher, on the other hand, said it clearly in front of the camera - and although she is known as one who does not mince words in general - this time she touched a too sensitive point with her followers, who doubtless have not unfollowed her since.

The host of the network, which as of this writing has 82,000 followers on TikTok, made the bold statement in a video that divided the network.

"I don't want to work for the rest of my life," the blonde cheekily stated at the beginning of her viral video.

"Does it look like I want to get up at 6am every fucking day for the next 60 years? No! I'm too pretty for that!" she said, taking a sip of her cold coffee.

Viewers did not like Lucy's confession and called her lazy and arrogant.

"Try waking up at 4 a.m. every day and working 60 hours a week," wrote one in response, and another added: "Someone here is privileged. I hope they humiliate you, honey, you have to get over it. Looks have nothing to do with work and it's sad that you have the mentality this one".

Another user wrote: "How about trying to grow up instead of acting like a privileged princess who expects to get everything on a silver platter?".

However, there were also some who agreed with Welcher and said that they too felt worn out from work.

"Well done sister" one wrote and another added: "Sending this to every employer I've ever had."

Another user wrote: "You said what we're all thinking" and another suggested: "You can be my housewife. I make 6 figures a year. Just make sure the house is clean and the food is on the table."

The attack on her caused her to respond to her video and insist that her words were said in humor.

Welcher often shares videos of herself getting ready for work, and recently even revealed that she received a promotion.

In this video above, she also blurted out a few things: "I'm starting a new position at work today, so instead of folding towels, I'm going to be at the reception desk," she stated, "It's very stressful, because even though I may look good, smart and talented, I'm actually not smart at all".
