SNCF wants to develop its “slow” OUIGOs with tickets between 5 and 30 euros

The SNCF may finally have its best weapon against the car, which it erects as its “main competitor”.

Since the launch of its OUIGO Train Classique, last April on two routes, the rail group has sold 900,000 tickets.

Via its new Oslo subsidiary, SNCF Voyageurs organizes two round trips per day between Paris-Nantes and Paris-Lyon, serving fourteen stations on the two lines combined.

“We hope to reach the millionth traveler by the end of the year, welcomes the management of SNCF Voyageurs.

The product particularly appeals to young people, who represent more than a third of customers.
