Milk production in the facilities affiliated to the General Corporation of Al-Mubaqer in Jub Ramla, Homs, Fadio and Al-Ghouta until the end of the ninth month of this year amounted to 4494 tons from its plan of 5260 tons, and about 129 tons of meat from the plan of 156 tons.
The Director General of the Corporation, Eng. Khaled Hilal, stated that the number of herds present in the four facilities currently amounts to 2036 head, including 1065 head of a growing herd and 971 head of cows, while the number of births reached 551 head until the end of last September, revealing that the Corporation contracted to import 1000 pregnant cubs designated to operate the station. The first is in the Muqaber Maskanah complex, and for the operation of the Deir ez-Zor cowshed.
Hilal explained that the corporation's laboratories convert the daily production of milk into milk, labneh, white cheese, mozzarella, Qashkaval, Mishllal and Quraysha, indicating that the marketing of the products takes place through direct sales centers in the laboratories at wholesale and half-wholesale prices and through the Syrian trade halls in the governorates of Lattakia and Hama and a sales hall. Products affiliated to the Foundation in Baghdad Street in Damascus.
Hilal pointed out that the establishment's production of green fodder this year amounted to about 4,714 tons, part of which is provided to the herd and the rest is manufactured as silage and hay, while its production of various grains reached 902 tons, stressing that the institution is working to complete the projects required to be implemented within the investment plan in operating cattle. .
