Gas prices in Europe rose by about 10 percent in today's trading, in light of the introduction of a European embargo on sea shipments of Russian oil to European Union countries.
According to Russia Today, the January futures contracts on the Dutch reference index (TTF) rose by 9.5 percent to $1,611.3 per thousand cubic meters.
The blue fuel contracts closed trading last Friday at 1471.8 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
