Vodafone boss Read: Only consultants from January

The British telecommunications company Vodafone has to look for a new leadership.
Nick Read will give up his post at the end of the year and will be available as a consultant until the end of March next year, Deutsche Telekom's competitor announced on Monday in London.
CFO Margherita Della Valle will temporarily lead the company.
The search for a successor has begun.
Read has been with Vodafone since 2001 and took over as CEO in 2018.
Things haven't been going well for the British telecommunications provider lately.
In contrast to the competition, the profit development for the current financial year is rather weak.
