The company had therefore been liquidated by the Commercial Court of Lille on September 26, resulting in the express closure of its 512 stores and the dismissal of its 2,600 employees.
The auction of the Camaïeu brand (with logos and domain names on the internet), organized on Wednesday by the liquidator of the company, was much more successful.
More than a dozen candidates came to the Mercier auction house in Vendeville (Nord).
Among them, the Beaumanoir group (La Halle, Caroll, Bonobo…), Kindy and Celio.
Projects for 2024
Starting at 500,000 euros and estimated between 1.2 million and 1.5 million, the brand was awarded after a few minutes of bidding to Celio, for 1.8 million euros.
