This Christmas bonus, also called "

exceptional end-of-year aid

", will be paid this Thursday to the most modest.

Since 1998, it has been granted to recipients of social minima.

Who can benefit from the bonus?

In total, 2.3 million French people are eligible for the Christmas bonus.

It concerns all people benefiting from Pôle emploi, the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) and the Family allowance fund (CAF).

These last two organizations are also the first to deliver the aid.

You will have to wait a few more days to receive payment from Pôle emploi.

For this public establishment, only six categories of beneficiaries are eligible.

They must use one of these aids: specific solidarity allowance (ASS), specific training solidarity allowance (ASS-F), retirement equivalent allowance (AER), public internship remuneration (RPS), remuneration for Pole training employment (RFPE) and support for business creation and takeover (ACRE-ASS).

The Public Service website specifies that "

to benefit from this exceptional aid, your right to allowance must be in progress for the month of November or December 2022. If you are a new beneficiary in December, the bonus will be paid in January 2023

" .

What is its amount?

For a single person, the Christmas bonus amounts to 152.45 euros.

The amount then evolves by scales according to the composition of the household.

How to get it?

After checking the access conditions, payment is automatic.

You don't have to do anything.
