The World Bank on Tuesday sharply lowered its growth forecast for China this year and in 2023, in the context of a slowdown linked to Covid-19 and a real estate crisis.
The world's second largest economy is expected to see its GDP grow this year by 2.7% and then by 4.3% next year, according to the World Bank.
Its previous forecast in June was for 4.3% and 8.1% respectively.
