Gold prices rose today in the local market by 7 thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 karat, compared to the price recorded yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21-carat gold recorded a selling price of 325 thousand Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 324,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 278,571 pounds, and a purchase of 278,071 pounds.
Yesterday, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 318,000 Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 317,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 272,571 pounds, and a purchase of 272,071 pounds.
The association emphasized that craftsmen must abide by the pricing issued by it, under penalty of violation.
