Gold prices decreased today in the local market by 9 thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 karat, compared to the price recorded yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Goldsmithing and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 305 thousand Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 304,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram amounted to “261429” selling pounds and 260,929 buying pounds.
Yesterday, the price of a gram of gold decreased by 3 thousand Syrian pounds, as the 21-carat gram recorded a selling price of 314 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 313,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 269,143 pounds and a purchase of 268,643 pounds.
The association emphasized that the craftsmen adhere to the pricing issued by it under penalty of legal accountability, indicating that the phone numbers for complaints when there is a violation are “0112248005”, “0112230766” and “0991937718”.
