Gold prices decreased this afternoon in the local market by 5 thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 carats, compared to the price recorded this morning.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Goldsmithing and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 305 thousand pounds, and a purchase price of 304,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 261,429 pounds, and a purchase price of 260,929 pounds.
The association set the selling price of the 995-carat ounce at 11,290,000 pounds, and the selling price of the 21-carat gold pound at 2,590,000 pounds.
And the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose this morning by 5 thousand pounds, to record a selling price of 310 thousand pounds, and a purchase of 309,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 265,714 pounds, and 265,214 buying pounds, while the selling price of an ounce of 995 carat reached 11,500. A thousand pounds, and the price of selling a 21-carat gold pound to 2,630,000 pounds.
