According to data published by the Russian Kommersant newspaper today, most of the major Russian companies increased their oil production in 2022, and the total volume of production increased by 2 percent.
The data stated that oil production in Russia amounted to about 535 million tons in the year 2022, while the results showed that among the companies that significantly increased the pace of its production was Surgutneft Gas, which ranked third in terms of production volume, surpassing Gazprom Neft, while Lukoil came in second place, and Rosneft came in first place.
