While the unions are calling for a massive mobilization this Thursday, January 19 against the pension reform, more than 10,000 police and gendarmes will be mobilized.
This was announced on Wednesday morning on RTL by Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin.
“We are preparing for the fact that there will be people,” he said.

Among the police mobilized, 3,500 gendarmes and police will be deployed in Paris where "a few thousand people who could be violent" are expected, according to the tenant of Place Beauvau.
