Gold prices stabilized today, heading for gains for the fifth consecutive week.
Reuters reported that gold settled in spot transactions at $ 1930.04 an ounce, up 0.5 percent during the week, and US gold futures contracts increased 0.4 percent to $ 1931.50.
As for other precious metals, silver rose in spot transactions 0.5 percent to 23.94 dollars, platinum fell 0.1 percent to 1032.25 dollars, and palladium fell 0.3 percent to 1748.28 dollars, and both metals are heading to record a second week of decline.
