Oil prices recorded a slight increase at the close of trading today.
Reuters reported that the settlement of the second-closest monthly maturity contract for Brent crude took place at $85.46 a barrel, up 96 cents, while West Texas Intermediate crude futures ended trading up 97 cents, or 1.3 percent, at $78.87 a barrel.
