The Central Bank of Syria issued Decision No. 211 L.A. dated 02-13-2023 and Circular No. 455/8 AM dated 02-13-2023 addressed to the branches of the Central Bank of Syria, according to which the “allowance bulletin” was abolished and replaced by the “banks’ bulletin” For the purposes of collecting the equivalent in Syrian pounds for each of the allowance for missed military service and the cash allowance whose equivalent may be paid in Syrian pounds based on the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 31 of 2020 amending some articles of Legislative Decree No. 30 of 03-05-2007 and its amendments that include the Military Service Law;
This is in a move by the Central Bank of Syria to reduce the number of exchange rate bulletins issued by it and its constant endeavor to unify exchange rates.
