The Central Bank of Syria announced that it did not amend the mechanism for collecting the cash allowance in accordance with the provisions of Decree 31 of 2020, as all previous procedures remained as they were, but rather the allowances bulletin was unified with the banks’ bulletin for the purposes of collecting the equivalent in Syrian pounds in cases of paying the allowance for fixed services and missed service, according to the provisions the above decree.
The Central Bank indicated in a statement that this clarification comes after the press release published by it, which includes the issuance of Resolution No. 211 / L-A and the related Circular No. 455 for the current year, according to which the allowances bulletin was canceled, to be replaced by the Banks Bulletin.
