YPF increased the value of its gasoline by 4% this Thursday, within the framework of the Fair Prices program for fuels that set limits on increases in the sector.
According to this understanding, oil companies have been increasing
the value of fuels by 4% per month
since last December , while, for next March, the scheduled increase is 3.8%.
The increase began to take effect from the first hour of this Thursday and is in line with the increase announced by Shell yesterday Wednesday
At the end of last November, the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, announced an agreement with the oil companies so that the fuels participate in the Fair Prices program.
"We are going to have December, January, February and March with a path of predefined increases: 4% in December; 4% in January; 4% in February and 3.8% in March, with the aim of continuing to build a path in the which all sectors contribute to significantly lower inflation, which is the main drama in Argentina," said the minister.
The agreement was signed by the presidents of YPF, Pablo González;
from PAE-Axion, Marcos Bulgheroni;
and from Raizen-Shell, Teófilo Lacroze.
