Another member of the management circle of the crisis-ridden Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) is taking legal action against his dismissal: As the "FAZ" and "Berliner Zeitung" report, citing the Berlin labor court, former administrative director Hagen Brandstätter is also suing against his dismissal.
Brandstäter is thus the fourth plaintiff from the ranks of the former top broadcasters to take action against the broadcaster under employment law.
The ex-company director Christoph Augenstein, the former manager Verena Formen-Mohr and the former chief lawyer Susann Lange are also suing against their expulsion.
It was made public at the beginning of February that RBB had separated from the last remaining members of the management team around the director Patricia Schlesinger, who had been fired without notice.
This means that no member of the management team around the former director Patricia Schlesinger is anymore active at RBB.
Last summer, the broadcaster fell into a deep crisis after allegations of nepotism and a series of controversial consulting contracts made the broadcaster headline news.
