A new campaign of the "One in Nine" association was launched.
At the center of the campaign is a work by the duo Anna Davis and Daniel Roeda called "StrongHer" whose usage rights were donated by the artists for the benefit of the campaign to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
The piece simulates a female breast with the help of three simple elements: a woman's back, a hat and pants.
Women's Day is an excellent opportunity to remind women of their right to health and how important it is to take care of it," says Tali Rosin, CEO of the One of Nine Association.
"The choice of this work is intended to stimulate the imagination and remind everyone of the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
Every year in Israel, approximately 5,400 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and we know that early diagnosis of the disease increases the chance of a cure to more than 90%.
It is important that every woman over the age of 30 schedule an annual check-up with a breast surgeon, and make sure that the check-up also includes a risk assessment through which the follow-up tests will be adjusted for her.
We recommend everyone to make an appointment today.
Even if his due date comes later, it is important that he is already in the diary.
"StrongHer" was created as a reflection on the issues faced by women around the world" explain
the artists Anna Davis and Daniel Ruada
.
We chose to create this piece to raise awareness of these issues and empower those affected by them.
One out of nine non-profits matches our values, and we were happy about this collaboration that makes use of our work to support a cause we believe in."
The piece will appear on outdoor signage throughout the country, on bus stop signage and directions and will also be promoted on digital and social channels.
